Thanksgiving 2011

My oldest daughter and her family came for Thanksgiving this year. They stayed for 6 days, but I only took a couple of pictures.

My dad, Rebecca, Jacob, Emma, and Claire held by my mom.

Emma.
She is learning about Native Americans in school and liked her gr. grandmas cool stuff:

These are the weeks highlights (minus pictures):
Saturday evening about 5:30, Susan and her family rolled in from North Peoria, Az.
Sunday: 1 hr of church, Dinner, board games.
Monday: Lots of grocery shopping, dinner and later games at the table.
Tues: Visited my parents and they took our gang to Mcdonalds.
In the evening Sarah and I tended the kids, while the others did a Temple trip.
Wednesday: Sue took the kids with her to visit a friend. They went to grade school together and later were College roommates.
That evening I tended the baby while the others went to BYU to visit a museum and see the sights. Aaron was already down there for the day (for work). He joined them for fun and pizza. Then they ALL came to the house again.
Thursday: A 5k fun run in the morning for Joe, Ben, Sue, Aaron and Emma! I tended the other kids until the runners came home. From time to time during the week, people went on little walks and runs to work off all the food.
Big Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone helped with the cooking. We stayed up late playing more games.
Friday: In the morning most everyone went sledding at Spruces in the Canyon. I stayed in bed a little longer.
In the afternoon (while I was out doing my church job) most everyone went to Hogle Zoo.
After dinner we played board games, but we went to bed a little earlier this time.
Saturday; Sue and her family left here at about 6:30 a.m. They are still on the road as I type this and they recently passed through St. George.

Susan took a lot of pictures and has a fun video of some fast sledding. Watch for her blog. She does a super job.
